The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed regarding the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access status sassa SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The company stage developed for intervention activities a significant inflow of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to allow the servicing of all clients and improve access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
